New direct service to Genoa
The range of services via the Swissterminal locations at Frenkendorf near Basel und Niederglatt near Zurich is growing constantly. The latest addition is a new link between the PSA Voltri Pra terminal at the Italian port of Genoa and Swissterminal’s sites in Frenkendorf and Niederglatt.
Voltri Terminal S.p.A will start the new service on 1 October 2018, which connects Switzerland with Italy three times per week. Special consignments such as high-cube containers or hazardous goods will of course also be accepted.
The new connection will leave the Voltri Terminal every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 4.30 h, so that the containers are ready for collection from Frenkendorf/Basel from 7.00 h on the following day. In Niederglatt the consignments are ready for collection from 9.00 h on Thursdays and Mondays.
The deadline for export containers to Genoa is 17.00 h every Monday, Wednesday and Friday in Frenkendorf with arrival in Genoa at 11.00 h on the following day. The deadline for export consignments from Niederglatt is 17.00 h every Wednesday and Friday.
